
Tell someone you love them! All students and parents can buy their students, teachers, and friends a heart to wear at school on Thursday, February 13. They will be $1 each. It will start with one bigger heart that says "I'm Loved By..." then every heart that is bought for a person will be attached to a ribbon for the student to wear for the day. Huge congrats to our talented art students, Lauren Tomlin and Sawyer Stieglitz, who tied for 2nd place in the Sweetwater Lions Club Car Show art contest! They'll each receive $50! Lauren's artwork will be displayed on the digital signs at Allsups and Rolling Plains Hospital. Check out their banners, along with other artwork from our 7th graders, at the car show on March 8th where they will be available for purchase at auction!

After graduation, Blake McDonell plans to attend Texas EMS School to obtain his emergency medical technician basic license followed by attendance at the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Services Firefighter Academy in order to become a municipal firefighter and EMT. The games in Loraine tomorrow night have been cancelled due to Loraine closing school tomorrow from having too many students out with sickness.
The makeup plan for now is Wednesday (January 22), same times and place. This may change depending on Loraine's administration and the illness situation come Wednesday.

The girl's basketball game against Midland TLCA has been canceled tonight, January 17th.
