Highland is pleased to offer "Stop the Bleed" training to Highland students in grades 7 through 12. This nationally recognized program is designed to teach individuals how to recognize and respond to life-threatening bleeding emergencies.

UIL Bus Update: The bus has left Westbrook. Should arrive at Highland around 8:15
Elementary/JH UIL Bus Update: Buses are running about 30 minutes behind. We will send an updated arrival time when the bus leaves Westbrook.
Elementary/JH UIL Bus Update: The bus that was supposed to arrive at Highland at 4:15 has just left Westbrook. We estimate that it will arrive at Highland around 4:45 PM
Highland Elementary and Junior High students competing in District UIL Academic events in Westbrook on Monday, December 15th, received an important note today that will be coming home. This note contains specific information regarding their bus departure and return times for the competition day, as well as their individual event times.
We will be using the Highland ISD app to send real-time updates regarding bus departure and arrival times on Monday, December 15th. Please ensure you have the app downloaded and notifications enabled to receive these important updates.

Enjoy Highland's very own re-creation of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade! Students in first and second grade read the book "Balloons Over Broadway." Then, the seventh grade completed a research project on the topic, and the first and second graders got to show them the balloons they made!
