Early Morning Drop-Off 2025-26: We are now offering early morning drop-off starting at 7:15 a.m. Students dropped off early will report to the library, where they will be supervised until the first bell rings at 7:30 a.m.

Highland is excited to announce that Shea Baucom will be returning to the court as our Head Girls Basketball Coach and bringing his passion back to the classroom as a History Teacher! 📣 Get ready to cheer and twirl! 📣 The Highland Cheerleaders and Twirlers are hosting a Mini Cheer/Twirl Camp for incoming PK through 5th graders!
Campers will learn cheers, chants, routines, and even get to perform at the Big Blue Preview on August 7th and a Varsity Football home game halftime!
📅 Dates: August 4th, 5th, 6th from 5:30-7:00 PM
📍 Location: HHS Activity Gym
💲 Cost: $30 (includes 3 days of instruction, 2 performances, a picture with the HHS cheer team, and a t-shirt if pre-registered by July 30th!)

Sam Gratehouse represented Highland at the HOBY Gulf Coast Leadership Seminar last week. The seminar works to bring high school sophomores together to develop leadership skills and encourage interaction with local leaders. Students participated in local activities including preparing 12,000 meals in 2 hours for the local food bank. Way to go Sam! #lifeonthehilltop #HOBY
