Hallee at state cross country meet

ROUND ROCK, TX – Highland is beaming with pride this week following an incredible performance by Hallee Montgomery at the UIL State Cross Country championships.

Competing against the best runners in Texas, Hallee held her own on the state stage. In a massive field of 145 elite competitors, she secured a 47th-place finish—an impressive feat that places her in the top third of all runners in her division.

Hallee clocked in with a stellar time of 13:29, capping off a season defined by hard work, endurance, and Highland grit.

While Hallee represented the school at State, the success of the program this year was a total team effort. Congratulations to Coach Pyburn and all of our High School Cross Country runners on a fantastic season. Your discipline and school spirit throughout the year have made Highland proud!
