November has been a month of exploration for our students as the Freshman and Sophomore classes traveled to several post-secondary schools to envision their futures. These visits gave our underclassmen a head start on discovering the diverse career and academic paths available to them.
TSTC Abilene
On November 5th, the Sophomore class headed to TSTC Abilene to explore their cutting-edge technical programs. Students toured the impressive new facilities and saw firsthand the specialized career paths a technical education offers. It was a great opportunity for our 10th graders to compare different campus styles and vocational options.

Angelo State University
On November 13th, our Freshmen visited Angelo State University in San Angelo. The 9th graders spent the day touring the beautiful campus and getting a real taste of university life—including the campus dining! The trip helped students see the reality of college life and the wide variety of majors they can pursue after graduation.
What's Next?
Whether it’s a four-year degree or a technical certification, we want our students to see every option available. Stay tuned—our students will have more opportunities to visit Texas colleges coming this spring!
