Cross country wrapped up their season with a slew of success and honors for many Highland athletes. For the junior high, several brought home medals. District proved to be a great outing for these athletes. Hallee Montgomery nabbed 1st, Kailey Rogers 2nd, Kennadi Sauer 4th, and Kailey Clowers 7th. Rhett Glass got 3rd and Jagger Fullwood was 5th.
As for the high school, the girl’s sent a few to regionals. Amri Deloera, Tatum Heady, Brianna Baucom, Scarlette Stieglitz, and Sydney Montgomery all got to participate in Grand Prairie. Under the training of Coach Pyburn, cross country looks to have a bright future!
