October went out with a bang with another successful carnival. This year saw all of the crowd favorites such as bingo and cake walk, as well as many booths and games that have gained recognition over the years. Jail? Ring toss? Digging for prizes? This carnival had it all. Additonally, the seniors had a delicious meal catered by Blacklands.
Once the clock struck 8, it was time for the play, written by Mrs. Thompson and directed by her and Mrs. Merryman. The theme this year was Rockin’ Around the USA. Many scenes highlighted the great states of our nation. At the end of the play, the king and queen were announced for this year’s festivities: Ty Muncy and Vonnie Watts. Hooray for another carnival!
