Welcome to the 2023-24 school year! I feel so blessed to be a part of the Highland family. This will be my twenty-third year at Highland. I have also taught at Sterling City, Stanton, Sands, and Roby. After graduating high school in Roby, I attended Angelo State University where I received a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education, specializing in math. I also completed my Master of Education degree at ASU to become a certified Reading Specialist.
My husband Wade is an agricultural sales representative for Nelson Wholesale. Our son Kanyon graduated from Texas Tech and now lives and works near Lamesa as a production manager for Trophy Caliber Innovations. Kamri, our daughter, is a recent graduate of Tech and works as a sales rep for Nova Medical in Lubbock.
This year I will be teaching math in grades 6, 7, and 8, as well as RTI and high school Geometry. I look forward to another great school year!
